Job summary

Hitachi Energy Finland Oy in Vaasa invites applications for a Testing Specialist in the Transformers business. You will perform routine, type and special tests on power transformers and reactors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and test procedures.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in electrical engineering.
• Basic knowledge of electrical properties of power transformers and reactors.
• Strong organizing skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work in teams and proactive communication.
• Fluency in English and Finnish.
• Willingness to work in two shifts, evening shifts possible.
• Continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage, plan and perform routine, type and special tests on power transformers up to 400MVA, 420kV and reactors up to 200MVAr, 420kV.
• Lead factory acceptance tests together with project managers in close contact with customers.
• Strong commitment to safe work practices and adherence to workplace safety guidelines.
