Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a skilled professional to lead the day-to-day engineering and maintenance operations at Palava Industrial and Logistics Park II. You will manage MEP services, oversee preventive maintenance, and ensure energy conservation targets are met.

The role requires 6–8 years in real estate with residential and commercial project exposure, and strong skills in CAD, communication, and team leadership. On-site position with supportive engineering leadership.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering is required.
• 6 to 8 years of experience in real estate with residential and commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of engineering systems and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day engineering and maintenance operations for the property.
• Plan preventive maintenance and optimize energy consumption.
• Maintain stores for CCTV, firefighting, PA, and DG systems.
• Conduct MEP performance tests and commissioning per design and BOQ.
• Provide technical training to MEP staff and prepare MIS reports.
• Coordinate with project/design teams and third-party contractors.
• Perform internal technical audits and ensure system performance.

Role Objective: Lead the team in the day-to-day engineering and maintenance operations of the property, including service standards, equipment schedules, and work schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance

• Plan & execute preventive maintenance and upkeep of all engineering services
• Monitor energy consumption and design methods for conservation and optimization of energy
• Maintain stores and supplies for close Circuit Television system, Firefighting, P.A. system, Diesel Generator
• Performance testing of MEP system and review of MEP system as per checklist
• MEP commissioning activity as per Design, BOQ & Tenders
• Provide technical training to MEP staff
• Prepare and analyze Engineering MIS reports
• PEB structure maintenance, Industrial Park operations and maintenance
• Operation & Maintenance of Electrical Substation

Coordination & Planning

• Co-ordinate with Project and Design team for upcoming building / cinemas and preparing proper handover reports
• Coordinate with External Technical Auditors and improving the System
• Proper handover of MEP system from Project team
• Co-ordinate with third party commissioning agency and all other services contractors for interfacing and integrating of all services
• Manpower planning and delegation of engineering / facilities jobs. Provide guidance to the team as required and train them on crucial activities.
• Conduct Internal Technical Audits for evaluating system performance & staff competency
• Manages day-to-day interaction with third party contractors and consultants effectively. Communicates effectively with third party contractors and consultants to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions

Qualification : Degree/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering

Practice and Other Requirements : 6 to 8 years of overall experience working with real estate industry. Must have managed residential & commercial projects.
