Job summary

KONE is seeking an experienced EMS Purchasing Manager in Espoo, Finland to join our Global Sourcing organization. You will develop sourcing strategies for Electronics Manufacturing Services, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability targets across a global EMS network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, supply chain management, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience within the electronics industry.
• Experience with EMS providers and electronic component or semiconductor suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of PCBA manufacturing, electronics sourcing, and supply chain processes.
• Proven experience managing complex sourcing and supplier development projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities and manage RFx and supplier selection processes.
• Monitor supplier capacity and market developments; support global sourcing strategy implementation.
• Build strong partnerships with EMS providers and electronics suppliers to meet cost, quality, delivery and sustainability targets.
• Drive supplier performance, technology alignment, and risk management across EMS network.
• Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain across global projects.
