Job summary

Evac Group is seeking a senior leader to head global sourcing and procurement from Espoo, Finland. You will lead cross-functional teams, drive supplier relationships, and manage costs and budgets to ensure continuous value delivery for large-scale projects.

The role requires extensive leadership experience, strategic thinking, and a proven track record of achieving cost savings in a global environment. You will influence multiple functions and external partners in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in sourcing and procurement.
• 10+ years in leadership roles.
• Proven track record of delivering cost savings and performance improvements.
• Excellent negotiation, financial and analytical skills.
• Strategic mindset for a global environment.
• Strong relationship building and stakeholder management.
• Change leadership capabilities and transformation experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the global sourcing and procurement strategy.
• Lead and develop sourcing and procurement teams.
• Own supplier relationships and monitor performance.
• Drive direct material costs, inflation management and indirect service costs through negotiations and RFx processes.
• Manage procurement budgets, reporting and spend analysis.
• Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, Product Lines and external partners.
• Achieve annual savings targets and ensure value delivery.
