Job summary

CTS Group is seeking an experienced project Purchasing Manager to lead sourcing and purchasing activities on our data center construction site in Seinäjoki, Finland. You will ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services at optimal cost, while building strong supplier relationships and supporting project delivery across the organization.

You will manage daily purchasing activities, oversee supplier relationships, and negotiate contracts, pricing, and lead times.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in business or related field and strong knowledge of inventory & supply chain management.
• Experience in procurement, purchasing or supplier management is essential.
• Proficiency in MS Office and purchasing systems is expected.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills are required.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Finnish are required.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced project Purchasing Manager to lead sourcing and purchasing activities on our data center construction site in Seinäjoki, Finland. You will ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services at optimal cost, while building strong supplier relationships and supporting project delivery across the organization.

What You'll Do

You will manage daily purchasing activities, oversee supplier relationships, and negotiate contracts, pricing, and lead times. You will evaluate suppliers based on quality, reliability, technical capability, and availability, while maintaining accurate records and supplier databases.
You will continuously improve procurement systems and processes, develop purchasing policies, and define guidelines for tendering, quotations, and vendor selection. You will also support internal stakeholders and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.
