Job summary

KONE is seeking an experienced EMS Purchasing Manager in Espoo, Finland to join our Global Sourcing organization. You will develop sourcing strategies for Electronics Manufacturing Services, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability targets across a global EMS network.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, supply chain management, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience within the electronics industry.
• Experience with EMS providers and electronic component or semiconductor suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of PCBA manufacturing, electronics sourcing, and supply chain processes.
• Proven experience managing complex sourcing and supplier development projects.

• Monitor supplier capacity and market developments; support global sourcing strategy implementation.

We are looking for an experienced and business-driven EMS Purchasing Manager to join our Global Sourcing organization. In this strategic role, you will develop and execute sourcing strategies for Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), manage key supplier relationships, and ensure a competitive, resilient, and high-performing supply base that supports KONE's global business objectives.

Working closely with Engineering, R&D, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and external partners, you will drive supplier performance, commercial competitiveness, technology alignment, and risk management across KONE's EMS supplier network.

You will lead supplier negotiations and contract management, identify cost optimization opportunities, manage RFx and supplier selection processes, monitor supplier capacity and market developments, and support the implementation of global sourcing strategies. Additionally, you will build strong partnerships with EMS providers and electronics suppliers while ensuring the achievement of cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability targets.

What We Are Looking For
