Job summary

Saab Finland is seeking an Environmental Qualification Engineer to collaborate with Systems Engineers to define EMC and environmental requirements for electronic warfare systems. You will translate those into qualification and compliance tests, lead campaigns, and support test-system definitions.

The role sits in the Product Testing team in Tampere, offering a flexible work arrangement and strong focus on a safe, collaborative culture. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in EMC and environmental qualification testing of products.
• Experience in EMC and environmental compliance management of products.
• Basic project management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with design teams and stakeholders.
• Fluent Finnish and English (oral and written).
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of time.

Responsibilities

• Compliance test planning and test cases definition for Saab Finland electronic warfare products.
• EMC & environmental requirements management.
• Product qualification test campaign planning, execution and reporting in collaboration with test labs and stakeholders.
• Participating in the definition of acceptance criteria together with Systems Engineering.
• Completion of qualification test milestones within agreed timeframes.
