Job summary

Verda, based in Helsinki, is building a European AI cloud that enables developers to configure, deploy, and manage compute programmatically. You will shape the DX for CLI, API, and documentation, blending product design with developer advocacy to improve the end-to-end journey.

The role focuses on designing API interactions, Kubernetes/workloads concepts, and AI-assisted workflows, reducing cognitive load while delivering clear, consistent experiences for engineers and data scientists.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of UX or product design experience with a focus on developer-facing products.
• Experience designing CLIs, APIs, SDKs, docs, or developer portals.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with product and engineering teams.
• Familiarity with cloud compute concepts (instances, storage, networking, Kubernetes) and API interaction design.

Responsibilities

• Own DX patterns for developer-facing surfaces, including error messages and CLI output.
• Map and improve the end-to-end developer journey for CLI, API, SDK, and docs.
• Design AI-assisted or agentic UX interactions to reduce cognitive load.
• Own documentation UX: structure, findability, and connections to product flows.
• Collaborate with the product design team to align DX patterns with the console design language.
