Job summary

Verda is building a full-stack AI cloud and seeks a platform leader to drive the technical direction of the cloud platform, spanning compute, storage, Kubernetes, serverless, and AI-powered workflows. You will own the platform's strategy, scale services, and lead cross-functional teams including Customer Support, working with EVP Engineering, Product, and Infrastructure leaders.

You will develop leaders, improve how teams work, and accelerate delivery cycles while ensuring dependable services

Qualifications

Experience scaling an engineering organisation with metrics showing faster delivery and broader ownership.
Deep judgment in cloud platforms or distributed systems and ability to write, review, and debug production software.

Responsibilities

Set platform vision and translate goals into outcomes with Product.
Hire and coach engineering leaders, empower teams with clear ownership.
Own platform delivery with realistic commitments and risk management.
Contribute to designs and drive implementation while keeping goals in sight.
Make the platform usable for humans and agents with clear interfaces and cost visibility.
Drive continuous improvement of AI-assisted workflows and development practices.
Raise service quality with testing, security, observability and operational excellence.
