We seek a Staff Engineer for Cloud to steer technical direction across domains, operate hands-on, and mentor engineers while aligning architecture and trade-offs across teams. Hybrid work in Helsinki or London, permanent role.

Qualifications

• Evidence of leading technical work beyond a single team.
• Track record of building or reshaping systems, not just maintenance.
• Experience designing APIs, data models, reliability, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction across multiple Cloud domains and teams.
• Lead cross-team technical initiatives end to end.
• Align architecture and surface trade-offs with Leads, PM, and Eng Managers.
• Set and uphold engineering standards for correctness, testing, security, observability, performance, and data integrity.
• Resolve cross-domain disputes and document rationale.
