Job summary

IQM Quantum Computers in Espoo, Finland seeks a Head of Production (Quantum Processors) to lead the ramp- and scale-up of its QPU production site, turning fabrication and packaging into a repeatable process with measurable yield and on-time delivery.

You will drive throughput, process maturity, and safety in a cleanroom, collaborating closely with fabrication and quantum engineering experts to build the manufacturing backbone behind IQM’s quantum computers.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of production and production ramp up, ideally in a deep tech environment.
• Solid understanding of microfabrication and packaging processes.
• Proven track record of leading a production ramp up with measurable impact.
• Ability to set up practical metrics for production output, quality, and cost and to follow through with execution with data.

Responsibilities

• Build the production ramp up plan, staffing needs, and operating cadence.
• Lead the QPU Production organization, including chip fabrication, micro packaging, and materials supply.
• Ensure high quality QPUs are available for deliveries with clear production planning and execution against demand.
• Lead a team of professionals and scale the team to match business need, focusing on well-being and development.
