Job summary

OP Pohjola invites applicants to join the Kiitorata Trainee Program within Debt Capital Markets in Helsinki, Vallila. The six‑month paid contract runs March 1 to August 31, 2027, with a monthly salary of €3,200.

The program offers exposure to bond origination, client marketing, and deal execution, alongside collaboration with Syndicate, Sales & Trading, and Corporate Advisory teams. You will work with Directors, Associates, and Analysts, supporting pitches, deal execution, and internal approvals

Qualifications

Investment banking or equivalent experience.
Excellent academic credentials.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including PowerPoint and advanced Excel.
Excellent communication skills; Bloomberg terminal knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist in capital markets transaction execution across bonds and liability management.
Participate in pitching and business development activities.
Coordinate with DCM Syndicate, Sales & Trading, and Legal for deal execution.
Prepare capitalization and bond pricing models in Excel to support pitches.
Develop pitch books, market updates, and Excel tools.
