Job summary

OP Pohjola is seeking a Risk Analyst Trainee in Helsinki to support market risk, counterparty credit risk and operational risk analysis, monitoring and reporting. You will work with economic capital metrics and regulatory capital, gaining exposure to risk measurement in a leading financial institution.

The role requires strong quantitative and programming skills, and you may be a recent graduate or in the final stages of university studies.

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical, statistical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to carry out quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
• Programming in Python, R or SQL with interest in automation.
• Willingness to learn new systems, methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Support analysis, monitoring and reporting of market risk, counterparty credit risk and operational risk.
• Work with economic capital and regulatory capital metrics to gain a broad view of risk measurement.
• Collaborate across Risk Management and other stakeholders, share findings with the team.
• Contribute to development and automation of processes.
