Job summary

Metsä Group is seeking a Development Manager, Data to lead the Data team in Espoo, Finland. You will drive data platform development, governance and AI-ready data capabilities in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.

You will guide senior specialists, manage multiple suppliers and contribute to planning, budgeting and forecasting. A Master’s degree or higher is required and leadership experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in developing and managing modern enterprise data platforms.
• Hands-on understanding of Azure Databricks and related Azure data technologies.
• Led data platform, data warehouse or reporting modernization programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead Metsä Group IT's Data team and shape the data development landscape.
• Oversee the Data development portfolio, prioritization, resources and delivery with stakeholders.
• Drive the evolution of data platforms, architectures, governance and AI-ready data capabilities.
