Job summary

Laminar Projects is seeking a seasoned Cost Engineer to transform how we manage costs on major construction programs. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and design teams to deliver cost insight that drives value and smarter decisions.

You’ll lead cradle-to-grave commercial activities, champion digital workflows, and push for continuous improvement across projects, with hybrid working and regular Nordic travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Cost management background with 5+ years on construction projects.
• Proficient in English; Norwegian is a plus.
• Strong leadership and people skills.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects.
• Willingness to travel every other week within Nordic market.

Responsibilities

• Own the cost: manage project costs through all stage gates with forecasting.
• Own the outcome: lead pre-construction estimating and post-contract cost management.
• Report and inform: provide simple actionable reports to stakeholders at all levels.
• Make scalable solutions: develop scalable and repeatable best practices and tools.
• Develop everyone: educate our clients and team to improve as well.
