Job summary

Laminar Projects in the Nordic market is seeking a seasoned Cost/Commercial Manager to lead project cost control and commercial processes across complex infrastructure projects. You will own costs from concept through close-out, oversee pre-construction estimating, live cost management, and change management, while driving digital tools and scalable practices.

Experience working with Tier 1/2 contractors and travel every other week is valued; strong English communication and leadership are

Qualifications

• Cost management background with at least 10+ years of experience on construction projects.
• Proficient in written and spoken English; Norwegian language abilities are an advantage.
• Leadership mindset with a relentless approach to dealing with people.
• Proven track record of improving projects and organisations beyond the basics.

Responsibilities

• Own the project costs through all stage gates with QCRA and risk-adjusted forecasting to provide a no-surprises financial environment.
• Lead pre-construction estimating and post-contract live cost management, including deep-dive cost analysis of change orders.
• Report simple actionable cost information to stakeholders to enable efficient project delivery.
• Develop scalable best practices and tools in collaboration with the team for long-term impact.
• Develop everyone by maximizing team development and client education.
