Job summary

Laminar Projects seeks a seasoned Cost Engineer to drive cost management across complex construction projects. You will oversee all commercial aspects from concept through close-out, collaborating with project managers, planners, and design teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

This role requires a digitally advanced approach and deep client engagement. Based in the Nordic market with travel every other week, you will help shape Laminar's consulting and digital delivery model,

Qualifications

• Mastery of Cost Management with 5+ years on construction projects.
• Proficient in written and spoken English communication.
• Proven leadership and people-skills with a proactive mindset.
• Experience negotiating terms with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel every other week to support regional operations.

Responsibilities

• Own project costs through all stage gates with cost control and forecasting.
• Lead pre-construction estimating and post-contract live cost management.
• Report to stakeholders with simple, actionable cost insights.
• Develop scalable cost-management practices and tools with the team.
• Educate clients to improve project outcomes and value.
