Job summary

Thor is seeking a Project Planner to strengthen the project delivery team in Finland. You will own programme planning across multiple live projects, collaborating with project managers, site teams and commercial staff to ensure realistic planning, accurate tracking and on-schedule delivery.

You will develop detailed programmes, monitor progress, prepare look-ahead schedules, assess design change impacts, and support planning for resources, procurement and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years planning experience in construction or project-driven environments.
• Exposure to commercial or industrial projects.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Project and/or Primavera P6.
• Understanding of critical path methodology, progress measurement and earned value.
• Strong Excel skills and reporting abilities.
• Excellent communication with site and office teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update detailed project programmes and master schedules.
• Monitor progress against baseline and report on variances, delays and risks.
• Prepare look-ahead schedules and recovery plans.
• Assess and document impact of design changes, variations and delays.
• Support resource, procurement and subcontractor planning.
• Produce regular progress reports for project managers and senior management.
• Liaise with site teams, consultants and subcontractors to keep programmes accurate.
• Contribute to tender planning and programme submissions where required.
