Job summary

AFRY is seeking an experienced Project Planner to join its Project Controls team in Finland. You will develop and maintain project schedules across proposals to execution, working with project management to ensure efficient planning. Key tasks include setting up schedules, developing baselines, tracking progress, forecasting timelines, and reporting deviations.

You will engage with the project team and customer representatives to keep schedules aligned. Primary work location is Vantaa.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering in a relevant field.
• Good command of scheduling tools such as MS Project and Primavera.
• Full professional proficiency in Finnish and English.
• Experience in industrial project planning for engineering, procurement and construction.

Responsibilities

• Setting up the project schedule development and control as well as progress reporting in all types of projects.
• Working with the project team to develop the baseline schedule.
• Tracking project deliverables progress, calculating the progress, forecasting the Future.
• Communicating the schedule status and reporting deviations.
• Proactively managing the scheduling process including identifying critical timelines.
• Actively engaging with project team and relevant customer representatives as well as other stakeholders.
