Job summary

Mercury Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead on-site delivery of large civil, structural, architectural and M&E packages across complex construction projects.

You will coordinate design and construction teams, manage safety, QA, schedules and budgets, and drive value through effective subcontractor management while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or recognised trade qualification required.
• 10+ years’ experience managing large construction projects as a General Contractor.
• Thorough knowledge of Civil, Structural and Architectural packages.
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical installations and interfaces.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative and manage a team effectively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Civil, Structural and Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical and Life Safety work packages.
• Manage Site Safety in conjunction with Mercury Safety Advisor and close out files.
• Manage Site QA in collaboration with Project Manager and team.
• Oversee Project Schedule with Planner, Project Managers, Sub-Contractors and consulting Engineer/Architect to meet Mercury Engineering and Client requirements.
• Facilitate schedule adherence through DABs meetings and on-site actions.
• Control day-to-day site operations within schedule.
• Manage sub-contractor activities and ensure adequate manpower and documentation.
