Job summary

Mercury in Helsinki seeks a Project Director to lead complex construction programs valued €100–€500 million. You will shape project strategy, assemble and guide the core project team, interface with client teams, and ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery across multiple disciplines.

Reporting to BU Management and Operations Director, you will drive governance, audit planning, and procurement strategies, while maintaining high QEHS standards and stakeholder alignment throughout the project

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or recognised qualification.
• 10+ years' experience in large construction projects.
• Thorough knowledge of Civil, Structural and Architectural packages.
• Flexibility in working patterns.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly meetings with your team, the Design team, and the Client.
• Conduct weekly audits and address open items with your team.
• Ensure QEHS compliance and safety campaigns are actively followed.
• Plan procurement and ensure engineering is developed to meet deadlines.
• Manage project team and maintain clear client interface.
