Job summary

Mercury is seeking a Construction Manager in Vaasa, Finland to lead large complex projects across civil, structural, architectural, electrical, mechanical and life-safety disciplines. You will drive safety, QA, schedule adherence and cost control while coordinating subcontractors and internal teams.

The role requires engineering credentials and 10+ years of GC experience, with strong leadership and communication skills to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or recognised trade qualification.
• 10+ years of experience managing large construction projects as a General Contractor.
• Thorough knowledge of civil, structural and architectural packages.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate civil, structural, architectural, electrical, mechanical and life-safety work packages.
• Manage site safety and QA with project team members.
• Oversee project schedule and progress through regular meetings and on-site actions.
• Control project costs including labour, materials, plant, variations and valuations.
• Ensure subcontractor coordination, documentation and site readiness.
• Attend meetings and implement company procedures with project managers.
