Job summary

Ardmac is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee planning, programming and execution of construction projects across the EU, including data centre fit outs and cleanroom facilities. You will input into estimates, review tenders, plan work, ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery, and develop contract programs with site teams.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in construction management, a related bachelor’s degree, CM/PM certifications, and strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in construction management.
• Experience in planning, programming, and executing projects.
• Experience in fit out/interiors (pharma, data centres) preferred.
• Certifications in PM/CM advantageous (e.g., PMP, CCM).
• Knowledge of safety regulations and contract law.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with PM software and MS Office.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Provide input into estimates and tenders, including site visits.
• Review tenders with operations and participate in adjudication.
• Plan and program work efficiently and prepare tender documents.
• Attend post-tender interviews and ensure safety and quality procedures are followed.
• Develop contract programs with the Site Manager and allocate resources.
• Ensure contractual compliance and timely completion across projects.

About the Job

We are currently seeking Construction Managers for various projects around the EU, including fit out of data centres, pharmaceutical and other cleanroom projects. The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, programming, and execution of construction projects. They will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards

We are currently seeking Construction Managers to be based in various EU locations including Finland.

Responsibilities

Pre-Contract

• Provide input into the preparation of estimates and tenders, including site visits.
• Review tenders with the operations team as necessary
• Participate in tender adjudication meetings
• Plan and program work efficiently
• Participate in the preparation of necessary documents for inclusion in tender submissions
• Attend post-tender interviews

Post-Contract

• Adhere to Safety First Guiding Principles
• Ensure each contract is properly planned and programmed#
• Ensure the implementation of all company safety, health, environmental, and quality procedures, maintaining statutory compliance across all projects
• Develop contract programs with the Site Manager, ensuring necessary resources are in place and establishing the sequence and timing of operations for work completion

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction management
• Proven experience in planning, programming, and executing construction projects
• Background in fit out / interiors project in industrial building schemes preferred - eg pharma, data centres
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (prefer
• red)
• Professional certifications in project management or construction management (e.g., PMP, CCM) are advantageous
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, contract law, and safety regulations
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality and compliance standards are met.
