Job summary

Clear. is seeking an Electrical Construction Manager to lead turnkey data centre projects across Europe. The role focuses on QA, safety, schedule management, labour planning, and subcontractor oversight to ensure on-time, compliant delivery.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in electrical construction on large-scale projects and strong LV/MV knowledge. MS Project proficiency and robust leadership are essential to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification required (City & Guilds, HNC/BTEC or NVQ).
• 5+ years in electrical construction on large-scale projects (data centres, industrial, pharma).
• Strong knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems, QA and safety compliance.
• Experience managing subcontractors, labour, schedules and costs.
• Proficient in MS Project or similar tools.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to Health & Safety and promoting a positive safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Manage site QA in coordination with the QA Manager, ensuring all works meet high standards.
• Oversee the project schedule with the Project Team and prepare two-week look-aheads for upcoming works.
• Ensure labour resources are planned and maintained in line with project requirements.
• Supervise subcontractor activities, monitoring progress against schedules and manpower trackers.
• Identify and report all variations and delays to Project Management.
• Verify that all plant and materials delivered are in line with specifications and safely stored onsite.
• Support project close-out, including O&M manuals, punch lists, safety files, QA files, and material handovers, in collaboration with the Site Project Manager.
• Uphold compliance and governance standards, including enforcing Health & Safety requirements and promoting safe working practices.
• Drive continuous safety improvements and ensure high housekeeping standards.
• Complete weekly "Don't Walk By" safety cards.
• Collaborate with Package Managers to develop and implement company procedures.
• Manage change control effectively, ensuring cost and programme impacts are captured and addressed.

This Client is a dedicated data centre delivery partner providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe.

We are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in 7 different European countries, equating to over 430 MW of IT load in flight.

We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking a Electrical Construction Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Relevant Electrical Qualification essential eg. City & Guilds Certificate, HNC/BTEC or NVQ
• 5+ years of previous experience in a similar role, electrical construction, preferably within large-scale projects such as data centres, industrial, pharmaceutical, or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems, QA, and safety compliance.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors, labour, schedules, and costs.
• Experience with change control, variations, and project reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Project (or similar tools).
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to Health & Safety and driving a positive safety culture.
