Job summary

g2 Recruitment seeks a Construction Engineer for a Finland-based Data Centre project. The role oversees day-to-day construction activities, coordinates subcontractors and site teams, and ensures safety, quality, and timely delivery on a 2-year contract.

Ideal candidates have data centre project experience and can manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced setting. Must be onsite in Finland and available as a freelancer/contractor.

The Role

• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
• Review drawings, technical documentation, and construction methodologies
• Support project delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance
• Identify and resolve construction issues to ensure project milestones are achieved

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Engineer within Data Centers, Mission Critical, Industrial, or large-scale construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction processes, site operations, and project delivery
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced project environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• MUST be open to working onsite in Finland
• MUST be available to work on a freelance/contract basis
• Previous Data Centre experience is highly desirable
