Job summary

atNorth is recruiting a Community & Education Partner in Finland to lead local engagement, build strategic partnerships, and drive talent development. You will work with municipalities, schools, and industry partners, delivering outreach programs, sponsorships, and collaborations across the Finnish ecosystem.

You will collaborate with People & Culture and Operations to support internships, apprenticeships, and future talent initiatives, while tracking outcomes and contributing to a Nordic

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years in community engagement or related roles.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships across diverse groups.
  • Excellent planning, coordination, and organizational abilities.
  • Fluency in Finnish and English; Swedish is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and with international teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Finland community engagement strategy implementation.
  • Build relationships with municipalities, educational institutions, and industry partners.
  • Plan and deliver community initiatives, sponsorships, and partnerships.
  • Represent atNorth in local forums, events, and site visits.

Community & Education Partner, Finland at atNorth Do you believe that strong communities and meaningful education partnerships can help shape the future workforce? At atNorth, we are looking for a Community & Education Partner to lead our community engagement efforts in Finland and build strategic partnerships that support long-term talent development. In this role, you will act as the local lead for community and education partnerships, working closely with municipalities, educational institutions, industry partners, and internal stakeholders. You will help strengthen atNorth's presence in local communities, create pathways for future talent, and contribute to our ambition to hire locally wherever possible. Key responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the implementation of atNorth's Community Engagement strategy across Finland.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with municipalities, community organizations, educational institutions, and industry stakeholders.
  • Plan and deliver community engagement initiatives, sponsorships, partnerships, and community investment programs.
  • Represent atNorth in local community forums, events, site visits, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Support stakeholder engagement activities related to new developments and operational sites.
  • Develop and strengthen strategic partnerships with educational institutions across Finland.
  • Coordinate educational outreach initiatives, including student visits, guest lectures, career fairs, and industry awareness activities.
  • Collaborate with People & Culture and Operations to support internships, apprenticeships, and future talent programs.
  • Identify opportunities that contribute to long-term workforce development and talent attraction.
  • Track engagement activities, measure outcomes, and share best practices across the Nordic Community Engagement network.
Your profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Education, Business, Public Affairs, Political Science, Sociology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in community engagement, stakeholder management, education partnerships, public affairs, or another relationship-focused role.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent planning, project coordination, and organizational abilities.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to transform ideas into practical and impactful initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
  • Passion for community development, education, and future talent cultivation.
  • Fluency in Finnish and English is required; Swedish is considered an advantage.
