Job summary

atNorth is a Nordic data center company delivering high-density colocation and built‑to‑suit services across the Nordics. The Delivery Project Manager will lead end‑to‑end data centre construction projects, coordinating cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager in data centre construction or similar high‑stakes industries.
  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems.
  • Proven track record managing multi‑million Euro projects on time and within budget.
  • Deep knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and health & safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling tools (Microsoft Project, Primavera P6) and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent financial acumen in budget management, cost forecasting, and change control.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English and Finnish.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for project status, ensuring clear and timely communication with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage integrated project schedules, identify critical paths, and proactively mitigate delivery risks.
  • Own project budgets, control costs, manage change processes, and deliver projects within approved cost and schedule baselines.
  • Oversee procurement and contract negotiations with contractors and suppliers in collaboration with Commercial and Delivery leadership.
  • Produce decision‑gate documentation, cash flow forecasts, and regular project reporting in line with atNorth governance processes.
  • Foster strong collaboration with internal teams (Operations, Commercial, Sales, Bid) to ensure seamless project integration.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with municipalities, authorities, and external partners.
  • Champion a “Safety First” culture and ensure compliance with atNorth HSE standards, quality requirements, and local regulations.
  • Ensure construction, commissioning, and handover activities meet approved designs and atNorth standards.

Project Delivery Manager at atNorth

As a Delivery Project Manager, you will manage end‑to‑end delivery of data centre construction projects, collaborating with cross‑functional teams and key stakeholders. Your leadership will ensure projects meet rigorous standards and align seamlessly with operational goals.

This is a permanent role and candidates must be eligible to work in Finland as well as be located within commuting distance from our Finnish sites.
