Job summary

Clear. is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer for a major data centre project in Finland. The initial phase will be in Vantaa for about 6 weeks, then Helsinki for roughly two years, with L2/L3/L4 commissioning responsibilities throughout.

The role requires proven mechanical commissioning experience in mission-critical environments and the ability to work within a large project team, with right to work in Finland or EU passport essential.

• Identify and resolve commissioning issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate commissioning documentation and reporting.

Mechanical Commissioning Engineer – Data Centre Project

Duration: 2+ years

Start: ASAP

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to join a major data centre project in Finland.

The initial phase of the project will be based in Vantaa for approximately 6 weeks, before the project transitions to Helsinki, where the successful candidate will be required for a further 2 years.

This is a long-term opportunity working across the later stages of data centre delivery, with responsibility for L2, L3 and L4 commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical commissioning activities across L2, L3 and L4
• Support the commissioning process through testing, verification and system handover
• Work closely with project, construction and commissioning teams
• Ensure commissioning activities are completed safely and in accordance with project requirements

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer
