Job summary

Mercury Helsinki is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to lead water treatment installation, commissioning and integration across complex projects. You will coordinate with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and strict safety compliance.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, planning, and mentoring on site, with ACMS usage and MS Project support. Fluency in English and strong organizational skills are essential for success in a multinational team.

Responsibilities

• Looking after water treatment specialist to oversee installation and commissioning.
• Completing commissioning and steps on the ACMS platform.
• Monitor and update daily analysis reports and monthly schedules.
• Responsibility for progress and delay analysis reports.
• Manage project scope, construction progress, resources, critical path and milestones.
• Produce weekly look-ahead schedules.
• Create baseline schedule for Engineering, Construction, Testing and Commissioning.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Attend and coordinate weekly meetings with client, subcontractors and suppliers.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Looking after water treatment specialist to look after installation and commissioning of water treatment.
• Completing commissioning and steps on the Automated Commissioning Management System (ACMS).
• Monitor and update of daily analysis report & monthly schedule
• Responsibility for progress & delay analysis report
• Manage project scope, construction progress, resources, critical path & milestone activities
• Produce weekly look ahead schedules
• Create baseline schedule composed of Engineering, Construction, Testing & Commissioning
• Ensure the adherence to safety and quality standards
• Attend and co-ordinate weekly meetings with the client, subcontractors & suppliers
