Job summary

Kultakiertue Oy, the market leader in precious metals, seeks a General Counsel to lead its newly established in-house legal function from Helsinki. You will be the primary legal authority across the group, negotiating contracts, overseeing intercompany structuring, and navigating European regulatory frameworks.

The role requires fluency in Finnish and English, substantial experience in corporate and commercial law, and a readiness to build a function from scratch while guiding the business

Qualifications

• A law degree and the right to practice in Finland.
• Solid experience in corporate and commercial contract law.
• M&A experience in acquisitions or investments.
• Experience across multiple jurisdictions or subsidiaries.
• Finnish and English fluency; Helsinki-based hybrid role.

Responsibilities

• Own contract negotiation, intercompany structuring, and regulatory work for new European markets.
• Lead M&A work as the company expands its European footprint.
• Manage external legal counsel across countries.
• Advise on marketing law and regulatory compliance.
• Support regulatory approvals and authority communications.
• Handle litigation or dispute resolution as it arises.
• Advise leadership on legal risk shaping business decisions.
