Lapland Staff Oy is seeking Christmas Operations Coordinators for the 2026 season in Saariselkä and Rovaniemi. You will oversee the Christmas operations team, coordinating transport, bookings and supplier relations to ensure smooth safaris for charter travelers.

Responsibilities include updating the ERP, invoicing when needed, and maintaining clear communication with partners. The role is seasonal, with a starting wage of €12.20 per hour (gross), under the Adventure Services collective agreement.

Qualifications

• English proficiency is required for communication with partners and guests.
• Experience in tourism or Lapland-related operations is preferred.
• Microsoft Office skills are essential for planning and reporting.
• Driving licence is required in Rovaniemi and advantageous in Saariselkä.
• Additional languages and guiding experience are beneficial.

Lapland Staff is looking for Christmas Operations Coordinators for the Christmas season 2026 in Saariselkä and Rovaniemi. The duties focus on handling and organizing the safari programs for charter flight travelers.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to manage Christmas Operations, with an emphasis on the operators’ daily schedule.
• Coordinate transport scheduling, work with tour operators, and manage bookings for various safaris with suppliers.
• Act as a key link between tour operators and transport companies, ensuring smooth cooperation among all parties.
• Communicate last‑minute changes to subcontractors and partners and maintain internal and external communication using various systems.
• Maintain and update the ERP system, invoice where required, and keep all logistics components of the travel package running efficiently.
• Independent work capacity with the ability to guide other team members when necessary.
• Support the team during the busiest peak months, working under pressure and solving problems quickly.

Qualifications

• Suitable education and previous work experience within the tourism field in Lapland.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an energetic, flexible attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written English; knowledge of Finnish language is a big advantage.
• Additional language skills and guiding experience considered advantageous.
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Driver’s licence required in Rovaniemi; an advantage in Saariselkä.
