Job summary

Jake Rakennus Oy in Ostrobothnia is seeking a Chief Site Manager to independently run our contract sites in the Vaasa region. You will oversee construction projects, safety management, pre-planning, scheduling and on-site materials procurement.

We value a construction foreman or engineer background, strong leadership, cost awareness and the ability to manage large sites. Finnish fluency is essential; Swedish/English are advantages. Permanent employment with competitive pay and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• We expect from you a construction foreman or construction engineer's education and work experience in the duties of a chief site manager/site manager of a construction site from public or industrial construction projects.
• You have good organizational and leadership skills, a positive and result-oriented attitude, and a desire to motivate the team towards the goals.
• You have strong cost awareness, a systematic way of working and the ability to manage larger entities, as well as the courage to make decisions.
• A qualification certificate required by the new construction law and experience in turnkey construction (KVR) are considered an advantage.

To support growth in the Vaasa region, we are looking for a CHIEF SITE MANAGER / SITE MANAGER to independently handle our construction contract sites. In your position, you will be responsible for the management of construction projects, occupational safety, pre-planning of the site, schedule management and procurement of site materials. Monitoring cost targets and site supervisory tasks are an essential part of your job duties. The final job description will be specified according to the selected person.
