Job summary

Jake Rakennus Oy in Vaasa seeks an analytical, sales-oriented Cost Engineer to support growth. You will handle quantity surveying and pricing for construction projects, and request and compare preliminary offers.

You will rely on Excel and calculation software to prepare detailed, competitive bids, while communicating with customers and internal departments by phone and email. You can be early in your career or bring experience, and Swedish/English knowledge is considered an advantage.

Jake Rakennus Oy is a construction company based in Ostrobothnia, operating mainly in the Ostrobothnia, Central Ostrobothnia, and South Ostrobothnia regions. We are looking for an analytical and sales-oriented COST ENGINEER to support growth in Vaasa.

You will be responsible for the quantity surveying and pricing of various construction projects, as well as requesting and comparing preliminary offers. You will ensure that the offers are competitive and meet our high quality requirements. You will be an important part of our project organization. An important part of your work is the use of Excel and calculation software to create detailed and selling offers, as well as communication and contact by phone and email with customers and different departments of the company. The final job description will be specified according to the selected person.

You have good organizational and cooperation skills, a positive and result-oriented attitude. You have strong cost awareness, a systematic way of working and the ability to work both independently and in a team. You can be at the beginning of your career or already a more experienced expert.

Knowledge of Swedish and English is considered an advantage.
