Job summary

The University of Oulu is looking for an enthusiastic and efficient Project Worker to join the IT and Electrical Engineering Development Team on a 40% contract from 27 October 2026 to 31 December 2027. You will help turn data, participation, and partnerships into real opportunities and impact for students and companies, by building websites, platforms, and analytics solutions.

Qualifications

• Ongoing, well-progressing studies in IT/ITES at the University of Oulu's ITee.
• Strong analytical, development, and IT skills; ability to use AI tools for data handling and insights.
• Ability to administer and evolve Wix/SharePoint and other web-based tools (iteespot.ikapo.fi & course-matcher-pro.ikapo.fi).
• Fluent English communication and ability to draft Finnish translations when needed.
• Strong organisational skills and time management for programmes and events.
• Experience with survey tools (Webropol, Microsoft Forms) and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Develop websites, company collaboration platforms, AI-powered analytics solutions, and digital tools for IKAPO and ITEE SPOT.
• Identify company needs and promote student projects, traineeships, and theses within IKAPO.
• Compile and deliver company-specific analytics and insights to support collaboration and recruitment needs.
• Assist interactions between students and companies through events and programme activities.
• Produce and share engaging content (event infos, slide decks, web articles, social media posts).
• Collaborate with student communities, staff, and external partners of the project/faculty.
