Job summary

University of Oulu is seeking a Project Worker to join the Development Team, ITA engineering faculty, on a 40% part-time contract for 2026–2027. The role focuses on turning data, participation, and partnerships into tangible opportunities for students and MSMEs, co‑funded by the EU.

You will develop digital tools, support student engagement, and deliver analytics to drive collaboration between students and companies in North Ostrobothnia.

Qualifications

• Fluent English communication and confident presenting.
• Ability to utilise AI tools for compiling and analysing large datasets.
• Experience administering Wix/SharePoint and other web tools.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills in an international setting.
• Experience planning programmes or events and delivering outcomes.
• Experience with survey tools and data visualisation.

Responsibilities

• Develop websites, collaboration platforms, AI analytics tools and digital resources for IKAPO.
• Identify company needs and promote student projects, internships, theses, and university–industry collaboration.
• Provide analytics and insights to support recruitment and project impact assessments.
• Foster interaction between students and companies through events and programme activities.
• Create and share engaging content (infos, decks, web articles, social posts).
• Collaborate with students, staff and external partners in project activities.
