Job summary

Ouraring in Oulu seeks a Research Coordinator to support diverse internal studies within our Research Operations team on a fixed-term 10-month contract. The role is predominantly onsite, assisting with data collection, equipment management, protocol development, and timelines.

You will collaborate with researchers and data scientists, ensure ethical conduct, and help improve our algorithms through rigorous study execution and quality checks.

Qualifications

• Background in human research (biology, psychology, cognitive science, biomedical engineering).
• Experience with research ethics and Good Clinical Practice is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage timelines and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Run in-person data collections, including scheduling, room setup, participant flow, and data capture.
• Manage prototypes and research equipment, troubleshoot functionality issues.
• Co-author protocols and SOPs with researchers and data scientists.
• Track study milestones, flag blockers, and keep studies on schedule.
• Perform manual data quality control and collaborate with engineers on automated checks.
• Ensure compliance with research ethics and internal standards.
