Job summary

Ōura is seeking a Research Coordinator for a fixed-term 10-month assignment in Oulu. The role supports our Research Operations team with hands-on data collection, equipment management, and protocol development in a mostly onsite setting.

Ideal candidates have experience in human research fields, understand biosignals, and possess strong English communication and documentation skills. You will contribute to study milestones, collaborate with researchers and engineers, and ensure compliance with

Qualifications

• Candidates with experience in human research (biology, psychology, cognitive science, biomedical engineering) in late stages (4th year / 250 ECTS).
• Familiarity with research ethics and good clinical practice.
• Strong attention to timelines and documentation, good communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Run in-person data collections, including scheduling, room and equipment setup, participant flow, and data capture from Oura Ring and reference devices.
• Manage prototypes and research equipment, troubleshoot functionality issues.
• Co-author protocols and SOPs with researchers and data scientists.
• Track study milestones, flag blockers, and keep studies moving on time.
• Perform manual data quality control and collaborate with engineers on automated checks.
• Ensure compliance with research ethics, Good Clinical Practice, and internal standards.
