Job summary

The University of Oulu invites applications for a part-time Project Worker position in the Development Team of the IT EE Faculty (ITEE). The role focuses on turning data, partnerships, and student activities into practical opportunities for students and MSMEs.

You will develop websites, analytics tools, and collaboration platforms, promote student projects, deliver analytics insights, and support university–industry engagement through events and content creation.

Qualifications

• Ongoing studies in ITEE degree programme at the University of Oulu.
• Strong analytical, development, and IT skills with AI tool usage.
• Ability to manage Wix/SharePoint sites and other web tools.
• Positive, proactive mindset with teamwork in an international setting.
• Fluent English with ability to draft Finnish translations when needed.
• Experience planning programmes/events; time management and prioritisation.
• Familiar with survey tools and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Develop websites, collaboration platforms, AI analytics, and digital tools for IKAPO.
• Identify company needs and promote student projects and traineeships.
• Compile analytics and insights to support collaboration and recruitment.
• Support events and activities that strengthen student engagement and industry ties.
• Create and share engaging content (infos, decks, articles, social posts).
• Collaborate with students, staff, and external project partners.
