M-Files is seeking a Sales Engineer to act as the technical authority in the sales cycle. You will design AI and automation solutions on the M-Files platform, deliver tailored demos, and prove value through POCs.

You will collaborate with Sales, Services, Product and Engineering to convert learnings into wins. You will script demos, run structured discovery, and plan POCs with clear success criteria, timelines and results, while advising customers on responsible AI adoption and security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/MIS/Engineering or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 3+ years in pre-sales, solution/technical consulting for complex software sales (enterprise SaaS).
• Proficient in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or C#, with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to run discovery, map pain points to business outcomes.
• Script, configure and deliver value-driven demos tailored to data and processes.
• Plan, run and close proofs of concept (POCs) with clear success criteria.
• Design AI-powered solutions on M-Files and integrate with customer systems.
• Provide technical thought leadership through workshops and solution briefs.
• Build trusted advisor relationships and support deal progression.
• Track pipeline influence and POC outcomes to improve effectiveness.
