Job summary

IFS is seeking a Technical Presales Architect to help enterprise customers design and adopt modern platforms powered by IFS Cloud, Industrial AI, and emerging tech. You will act as trusted technical advisor across architecture, security, deployment, and AI capabilities to deliver long-term business value.

As part of the role you will lead discovery sessions, design architectures, advise on deployment models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to differentiate IFS in strategic deals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in presales, solution or enterprise architecture with customer-facing technology.
• Proven ability to design, position, and present complex enterprise software solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud, integration, APIs, security, and modern app architectures.
• Experience discussing security topics including IAM, data protection, governance and compliance.
• Knowledge of deployment models SaaS, private cloud, hybrid cloud, multi-region.
• Knowledge of AI technologies, LLMs, AI orchestration, and practical AI use cases.
• Demonstrated use of AI-assisted tools to speed solution design and prototyping.
• Excellent communication, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions and architecture workshops with customers and partners.
• Design architectures aligning business needs with IFS Cloud capabilities and best practices.
• Advise on platform architecture, integration patterns, security, IAM, and deployment models.
• Guide deployment options including SaaS, private cloud, hybrid cloud, and regulated environments.
• Demonstrate AI, automation, and enterprise AI use cases to improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Consulting, CSM, Product, Engineering and AI teams to craft winning strategies.
• Lead technical responses for RFPs, proofs-of-concept, and executive presentations.
• Stay at the forefront of cloud, security trends, and enterprise platform innovation.
