Job summary

eBrands in Helsinki is seeking a full-time Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. The role focuses on daily accounting tasks, invoice processing, and ensuring accurate financial operations in a hybrid setup with three days per week in the office.

You will work with Netvisor, assist with payroll where applicable, and contribute to improving finance processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Vocational Qualification in Business Administration, business student, or equivalent education
• Previous experience in accounting or finance is an advantage, but we are open to candidates at the beginning of their career with solid accounting basics
• Careful and reliable working style with good communication skills
• Fluent in English and Finnish
• Experience with Netvisor and payroll is considered an advantage

Responsibilities

• Processing incoming invoices, expense claims and payments
• Transferring sales invoices to the accounting system, monitoring overdue invoices, and supporting the Sales Team with invoice-related questions
• Processing and reconciling bank statements
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing
• Coordinating the finance inbox and ensuring timely responses to internal and external stakeholders
• Handling other accounting-related tasks
• Supporting the improvement of finance processes and ways of working
• Depending on your experience and interests, the role may include payroll and more advanced bookkeeping tasks
• Supporting administrative tasks when needed

Location:

Hybrid working model, with a minimum of 3 days per week in our Helsinki office
