Job summary

Evotym is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting for the Finnish entity, ensuring accurate records in line with local requirements. You will collaborate with an international finance team to support growth and compliance.

You will act as the local accounting expert, improve processes, and provide guidance to the CFO. Based in Finland with fluency in Finnish and strong English communication skills, you will contribute to a scaling fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, Financial Accountant, or in a comparable role with independent accounting responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of Finnish accounting requirements and local financial processes.
• Ability to manage accounting for a Finnish legal entity independently.
• Based in Finland and fluent in Finnish. Strong English communication skills.
• Experience in fintech.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day accounting for the Finnish legal entity, ensuring accurate and reliable financial records.
• Ensure accounting practices meet Finnish requirements and follow appropriate local financial processes.
