A leading compliance firm is seeking freelance Safety Subject Matter Experts to ensure alignment with occupational health and safety regulations. The role involves conducting safety audits, developing and updating procedures, and providing recommendations for compliance improvements, with a flexible, on-demand schedule.
We are seeking highly qualified in-country Safety Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support our client’s safety compliance initiatives. In this pivotal freelance role, you will ensure operational activities and documentation align with national occupational health and safety regulations ( e.g., OSHA, INRS, HSE, DGUV, etc. depending on country). This opportunity is ideal for a regulatory safety professional passionate about analyzing real-world practices, identifying compliance gaps, and recommending clear, actionable improvements.
Engagement Type : Freelance / Contract (Hourly, 1099 or C2C)
Location : Remote( within UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland and Egypt ) — based in-country (specific address / location TBD); requires travel to client worksites
Hours : Variable, on-demand (no set weekly guarantee)
Start Date : ASAP
Compensation : Based on experience
Language Requirement : Fluent in English and local language
