This role is part of the Rewardful team, one of our growing brands at saas.group.

Rewardful, launched in 2018, simplifies affiliate program management for SaaS companies using Stripe or Paddle. It serves over 2,600 SaaS brands and is supported by a small, collaborative, and innovative distributed team.

Profile Overview

As a new member of our Engineering Team, you will enhance Rewardful's affiliate management platform. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing features, optimizing systems, and contributing to product growth. Collaboration with colleagues to solve challenges and maintain code quality is essential.

Our stack: Ruby on Rails 7, Sidekiq, PostgreSQL, Redis, RSpec, Capybara, Heroku, GitHub Actions

Immediate impact (first 3-6 months):

• Contribute to launching the affiliate marketplace.
• Improve frontend architecture for better user experience.
• Automate internal processes to support growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new features supporting merchants and affiliates.
• Make architecture and technology decisions.
• Optimize application and infrastructure for speed and reliability.
• Support customer service and automate platform operations.
• Write automated tests, review code, and maintain the platform.
• Reduce technical debt for a clean, enjoyable codebase.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of professional Rails development experience with practical knowledge of scaling Rails applications.
• Product and UX sensibility, able to discuss design aspects critically.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, comfortable on Slack and GitHub.
• Empathy and teamwork skills, open to giving and receiving feedback.
