Wireless Logic, a global leader in Cellular IoT, is seeking a dynamic Managing Director / General Manager over seeing offices in Bilbao & Madrid to conquer the Iberian market. As Managing Director / General Manager you'll be the architect of our success, empowering a talented team and forging strategic partnerships to dominate the Iberian IoT landscape and unlock opportunities. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and are driven to achieve exceptional results this role is for you

  • Strategic Leadership : Develops and implements the company's long-term strategic vision, focusing on sustainable growth, market leadership, and maximizing shareholder value. Identifies and evaluates market opportunities, competitive threats, and emerging technologies.
  • Commercial Growth : Develops and executes strategies to drive commercial success, including revenue growth, market share expansion, and margin improvement. Identifies and capitalizes on opportunities to increase sales, improve pricing strategies, and optimize cost structures.
  • Operational Management : Oversees all aspects of the company's operations, including sales, marketing, product development, finance, human resources, and customer support. Drives operational efficiency, optimizes processes, and ensures the company meets its performance targets.
  • Financial Performance : Manages the company's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and P&L management. Ensures the company achieves its revenue and profitability goals. Works closely with the board to provide regular updates on financial performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Team Leadership & Development : Leads, manages, and develops a high-performing team of approximately 10-20 employees. Fosters a positive and collaborative work environment, promotes employee engagement, and supports professional development.
  • Stakeholder Management : Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the PE investors, customers, partners, suppliers, and employees. Represents the company in industry forums and public events.
  • Market Analysis & Expansion : Conducts market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and develop strategies for market expansion. Oversees the company's sales and marketing efforts to achieve market share growth.
  • Product Strategy & Innovation : Collaborates with the product development team to define the company's product strategy and drive innovation. Ensures the company's product offerings remain competitive and meet customer needs.
  • Compliance & Governance : Ensures the company operates in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards. Establishes and maintains strong corporate governance practices.
  • Board Reporting : Provides regular reports to the Board of Directors on the company's performance, strategic initiatives, and key challenges.

The Secret Sauce :

  • Strategic & Commercial Leadership : Proven experience in a leadership role having led at a country / regional level with ability to develop and execute strategic business plans, drive double-digit growth, and maintain strong margins, with a deep understanding of the IoT telecom market and competitive landscape.
  • Customer & Innovation Focus : Exceptional customer-centric mindset, coupled with an entrepreneurial spirit to drive innovation and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Financial & Analytical Acumen : Strong financial planning, forecasting, and analysis skills, with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making. Previous experience having generated and managed a multi-million P&L
  • Global Team Leadership & Communication : Outstanding ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate with diverse, globally distributed teams, with excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English. Previous experience of having worked in a wider global matrix organisation
  • Market Expertise & Regulatory Compliance : In-depth knowledge of the local IoT telecom market, including TAM / SAM analysis, competitor analysis, and regulatory requirements related to connectivity, data security, and compliance.
  • Sales & Partnership Development : Extensive sales cycle knowledge, with the ability to build and manage strategic partnerships, and a clear understanding of local operator policies and market dynamics.
  • Digital & Technological Fluency : Proven ability to leverage the latest technologies to optimize business operations and drive digital transformation.
