We are seeking a talented, dedicated individual committed to the highest ethical standards for the following position:

• Lab Tech I

Purpose:
The Laboratory Technician I performs laboratory analytical tests on raw materials and finished products following established parameters (policies, FDA, cGMP) and applicable regulations without impacting the manufacturing cycle or laboratory workflow. This position must comply with all security guidelines, Environmental Health and Safety regulations, and current Good Laboratory (cGLP) and Good Manufacturing (cGMP) Practices.

Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory analytical tests on raw materials and finished products according to established parameters and regulations, ensuring no impact on manufacturing or workflow.
• Accurately document all tests and analyses.
• Perform preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment as applicable.
• Prepare presentations, such as for Invalid Test Investigations.
• Ensure samples are collected, tested, and authorized per schedule and procedures.
• Resolve typical technical problems with minimal supervision.
• Complete training and certifications as scheduled.
• Participate in training of new employees.
• Coordinate and distribute tasks when required.
• Assist operations in environmental management, occupational health and safety (EHS), and promote continuous improvement, complying with all EHS policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Science required; a major in Chemistry is strongly preferred.
• No previous experience required; basic laboratory techniques knowledge is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Teamwork-oriented.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Availability to work the third shift, with shifts from Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday, including rotation, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
