Job summary

GE Vernova in Barcelona is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center (Wind). You will oversee safe, efficient offshore wind asset operation from a centralized hub, spanning commissioning and service phases.

You\'ll monitor turbine performance, lead remote diagnostics, and collaborate with site teams to ensure reliability, safety, and continuous improvement across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems experience in operation.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting to support commissioning and service.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear, structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends and improvements.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on rotating weekday shifts with on-call weekends/public holidays.
