Job summary

GE Vernova in Barcelona, Spain, is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy). This role focuses on safe, efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a remote hub, spanning commissioning and service phases with close collaboration with site teams and engineering experts.

You will monitor performance, diagnose and troubleshoot remotely, support field teams, analyze data for faults and trends, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on wind turbine experience in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) and EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Support commissioning and service via remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and improvements.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimization.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift with on-call weekends/public holidays.
