GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind) based in Barcelona, Spain. The role focuses on safe, efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a remote center, spanning commissioning and service phases.

You will monitor turbines, diagnose issues remotely, and collaborate with site teams to maintain performance, while contributing to data analysis, process improvements, and reporting. Expect rotating weekday shifts with on-call rotations.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication, calm structured approach under pressure, and a collaborative, proactive mindset
• Availability to travel up to 20% of the time, if required.
• Fluent English (spoken and written), willingness to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance
