Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona. You will monitor turbines, diagnose issues remotely, and collaborate with engineering to keep offshore wind assets running smoothly.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, or equivalent wind energy experience.
Hands-on wind turbine experience in operational environments.
Fluent English; willingness to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and alarms.
Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting for commissioning and service.
Assist field teams to resolve technical issues and restore performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear, structured technical information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
Support grid outages with safety and compliance.
Work rotating weekday shift with on-call rotations (weekends/holidays).
